CORSICA AND SARDINIA
12 DAYS FROM BARCELONA
DAY 1.
Arrival in Barcelona and transfer to the port, Terminal Grimaldi. Embark the ferry and depart at 10.00 pm, with Porto Torres as the destination. Night on board in an external cabin with a view of the sea.
DAY 2.
Arrive in the morning and journey along the north coast of Sardinia to Santa Teresa de Gallura, where we will take another ferry for 40 minutes to Bonifacio. Upon arrival, we will make the short trip to Porto Vecchio.
DAY 3.
Breakfast and departure towards Bastia through the centre of Corsica, crossing the spectacular Restonica Valley, possibly one of the most beautiful areas of this mountainous island.
DAY 4.
Breakfast followed by a short but intense leg to the coastal city of Calvi, riding around the peninsula that forms the spectacular Cap Corse and the Gulf of Saint-Florent. Hundreds of bends with beautiful views and the sea almost always alongside the route.

DAY 5.
The journey continues along the north-east coast of Corsica to the capital of Ajaccio, the birthplace of Napoleon. In addition to tracing Napoleon’s footsteps around the city, we recommend heading to the Parata Tower to enjoy the view over the Sanguinaires Islands.
DAY 6.
Breakfast and departure to Bonifacio to take the return ferry to Sardinia. We recommend going via Tempio Pausania in Sassari on the way from Santa Teresa de Gallura to the historic city of Alghero, so that you don’t repeat the same route.
DAY 7.
After visiting the old town of Alghero, head south towards Cagliari, the largest city in Sardinia, stopping in the town of Oristano on the way. This is where Christopher Columbus was born in the 15th century, when Sardinia was part of the Kingdom of Aragon.
DAY 8.
This is another beautiful part of the route, but this time along mostly narrow mountain roads that are well tarmacked and have little traffic, except when leaving Cagliari.
DAY 9.
This is a rest day to enjoy the beach and the beautiful mountainous landscape with the sea in the background. If you prefer, you can take a trip inland, where you’ll find the island’s highest and most spectacular mountains.
DAY 10.
Breakfast and departure to Porto Torres. If you want to see the famous Costa Smeralda, you should head towards Olbia, Golfo Aranci, Porto Cervo and Palau, then go in the direction of Castelsardo until you reach the small village of Porto Torres. This route is an additional 100 km long.
DAY 11.
Board the return ferry to Barcelona at 6.00 am and arrive back in Barcelona at 7.00 pm. Although this is an all-day journey, you will have an exterior cabin with views, for the utmost comfort and privacy. Arrival, motorbike return and night in Barcelona.
DAY 12.
Transfer to the airport for return flight.
